The self-hosted licence
- One licence covers one installation of LETVERA for one organisation, at the web address (domain) stated in the licence key, with unlimited letters and users.
- The licence is perpetual for the version supplied. Updates and e-mail support are included for one year from purchase.
- The licence may not be sold, shared, sub-licensed or used for another organisation. The software may not be redistributed, resold or offered as a service to others.
- LETVERA and its logo are the property of the publisher. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Annual plans
- Basic, Standard, Business, Professional and Enterprise are annual plans for one organisation, with a one-time setup fee and an annual fee payable in advance. Company plans are priced by the number of users stated in the plan.
- Plans renew yearly unless cancelled before the renewal date. Paying two or three years in advance earns the discount quoted at the time.
- Standard includes storage up to the limit stated in the plan (2 GB or 1,000 letters a year at present); further storage is available in add-on packs.
- All fees are in Indian rupees and exclude GST, which is charged at the applicable rate.
Free trial
The trial is the full product for 15 days from activation, and is available once per organisation — a further trial is not given for the same website, organisation or company e-mail domain. After the trial, letters already issued continue to verify; issuing new letters requires a licence key.
Your data
On the self-hosted licence and the Basic plan, LETVERA runs on your own computer or hosting: you are responsible for the personal data in your letters, for your hosting and for keeping backups. letvera.in receives only your public seal key, organisation name and a list of one-way codes for letters that are not valid.
On plans where we host LETVERA for you, your letters are kept in a separate, private space for your organisation. We process them only to provide the service, as your data processor under a data processing agreement in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can download everything at any time. When a plan ends, your data remains available for download for 60 days; after that it is deleted and we confirm the deletion. Letters already issued continue to verify.
What LETVERA does and does not do
LETVERA records and verifies the letters you issue through it. It does not decide whether a letter is lawful, properly authorised or validly served; that depends on its content and on how it is signed and delivered. Digital signatures are applied by the signatory with their own certificate or eSign service.
Warranty and liability
The software is supplied with reasonable care, and we will correct reproducible defects reported during the support period. Beyond that it is provided "as is". Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the licence or plan in the twelve months before the claim.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction.
