Who we are
This notice is given by LETVERA ("we"), the publisher of the LETVERA software, reachable at hello@letvera.in.
What we collect, and why
- When you download the trial: your name, organisation, e-mail address and (optionally) mobile number — to send you the software and installation help, and to contact you about LETVERA.
- When you write to us: the same details and your message — to reply, arrange a demo, or supply and support a licence.
- When an installation activates its free trial: the installation's website address, the organisation's name and the administrator's e-mail — to give one trial per organisation and to help during the trial.
- When an installation uses LETVERA Seal: its public key and organisation name, and a list of scrambled codes for letters that are revoked, rejected or awaiting approval — to let anyone check a sealed letter. These contain no letter contents, references or names of the people in them.
- Technical data: your IP address and the time of the request — to prevent misuse of the forms.
We collect these details only with your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. We do not sell or rent them, and we do not use them for advertising by others.
Your letters stay with you
LETVERA runs on your own hosting. The letters you issue, your register and the people named in them are stored on your server, not ours. We do not receive or process them.
How long we keep your details
For as long as we are in contact about LETVERA and for up to three years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example, invoices). After that they are deleted.
Who else handles them
Our website and e-mail are hosted by our hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf. We share your details with no one else unless the law requires it.
Your rights
You may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or completed, withdraw your consent, or have it erased, by writing to hello@letvera.in. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before it. You may also nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
Grievances
Write to support@letvera.in with the subject "Grievance". We will respond within the period required by law. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
